Traffic where I-270 meets the Beltway slowed to a crawl on Monday morning when two vehicles collided.
The incident took place south of the Democracy Boulevard exit on the I-270 spur, WTOP reported.
A minivan collided with a sedan in the center lanes. The van caught fire and was engulfed in flames.
Rubbernecking slowed traffic on the Beltway.
