After two weeks of traffic headaches caused by snow and ice, things in DC are getting back to normal, though some people are still struggling with parking.

Can't reach a parking meter to feed it? Prepare to pay a ticket. Parking enforcement can reach your windshield to leave a ticket.

Yes, D.C. is back to ticketing for unfed meters.

D.C. warned drivers that even snow-covered parking meters need love, too. So you'd better get your coins into those slots.

Of course, digging out the meters yourself may be tricky. There's nowhere to put the snow, and D.C.'s frowning on shoveling snow back onto plowed roads.

Parking meter rules are in effect in every part of the city, including new Saturday restrictions, officials said. So look closely at the parking signs to make sure you're not parking illegally.
