Prince George’s County police said speed was likely a factor after a car hit a house in Temple Hill, Md., Saturday afternoon.
Police said the care was headed westbound on Manchester Drive and was attempting to take a right onto Old Branch Avenue when the driver lost control of the vehicle. Two people inside the home were not injured.
The driver refused treatment at the scene, but was taken into custody by police for possession of a controlled substance.
There was minimal damage to the home.
