Nationals star Bryce Harper is officially off the market.
The former MVP married fiance Kayla Varner over the weekend at the Mormon Temple in San Diego, the Washington Post reported. According to the Post, Harpers' teammates Jayson Werth and Trea Turner and general manager Mike Rizzo attended the reception.
Harper and Varner had initially set a wedding date for 2015, but the plans were scrapped, the Post reported.
But this weekend, the two made it official. Both Harper and Varner posted images of the happy couple outside the San Diego temple.
"Mr. & Mrs. Harper!" the Nats' #34 posted on Instagram. "Thank you to the insanely amazing [wedding photograper] @indiaearl..We couldn't of [sic] asked for a better day."
