The White House was holiday card-perfect Saturday night behind the falling snow.
On Sunday, snow crews pierced the silence of newly fallen snow with all kinds of motorized snow equipment clearing walkways and driveways. After all, it's a busy week of politics with the looming health care vote that could pass on Christmas Eve.
Bo, the first family's Portuguese water dog, became a Portuguese snow dog. He frolicked around in the white stuff, blissfully ignoring the cameras. It was no photo op for Bo.
The snow was novel to Bo, but President Barack Obama said the heavy snowfall made him feel like he was back home in Chicago.
The next NBC Washington PNC Bank Community Shred is scheduled for June 16, 2012.
