A man claiming to have a bomb robbed a Hyattsville, Maryland, bank last week.
Investigators say the man walked into the Capital One on Annapolis Road with a box under his arm just before 5 p.m. Friday. The bank robber passed the teller a note demanded money. The note also indicated that the box contained a bomb.
The suspect took the money and left the bank, leaving the box behind.
The Prince George's County bomb squad x-rayed the box and found nothing.
No one was injured during the robbery.
Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call the FBI's Baltimore office at 410-265-8080.
