A travel agency and Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport said weekly charter flights between Maryland and Cuba will begin next year.
Island Travel & Tours Ltd., along with its partner, Sky King Inc., will offer weekly charter service beginning March 21.
This year, BWI received approval from U.S. Customs and Border Protection to handle passenger charter air service to and from Cuba. The Cuban government recently approved Island Travel and Tours to offer the service from BWI Marshall.
