Quick, go grab your wallet. Have any unused gift cards in there? Not sure if you'll actually use them anytime soon? Kiplinger 's Personal Finance Magazine has a solution!

It says that the average household has about $300 in unspent gift cards in their house. But there’s an easy way to sell unwanted gift cards online. You won’t get the full value of your card, but you can get up to 92 percent on some sites.

Some of the sites offer cash back, while some offer trade-in gift cards to merchants like Amazon.com. Kiplinger mentions sites like Plastic Jungle, Swap a Gift, and Gift Card Granny as websites that will take your unused gift cards for other gift cards or cash.
