A Maryland man was charged with felony theft in connection to stolen gravesite markers and vases in Anne Arundel County.

Police announced the arrest of Dustin Landon Grogan, 42, of Pasadena, Md., Tuesday in connection to robberies at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.

Last summer someone took several bronze vases and markers from graves, according to police. Officers recovered a number of stolen items at a home in Glen Burnie.

Detectives are reaching out to the families of the deceased, some of whom investigators say are World War II veterans.

Anyone who has any additional information about the thefts at the cemetery should contact Anne Arundel County police at 410-222-6018.
