Armed Bank Robbery in Manassas

Manassas police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Saturday morning.

The armed robbery took place at the Carter Bank and Trust at 8402 Sudley Road in Manassas, Va. Employees said the unknown man displayed a handgun and demanded money. The suspect ran off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect possibly got away in a car.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 25 and 40. He is said to be 6-feet to 6-foot-3 in height and 230 pounds with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, washed out jeans and a dark baseball cap.
