AAA Mid-Atlantic said Sunday in a weekly report that the average price of a gallon of regular gas in the D.C. metro area is $3.64 this week. That's compared to $3.69 a week ago.

Motorists in the region are also paying less than a year ago. At this time last year drivers were paying $4.03 per gallon.
