Two teenagers are facing murder charges in the fatal shooting of another teen in Spotsylvania County.
Capt. Jeff Pearce with the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office said the suspects' names won't be released because they are juveniles. One suspect is 15 years old and the other is 17 years old.
Pearce told The Free-Lance Star that both teens are charged with first-degree murder in the death of 18-year-old Jason Syrkes.
Pearce said deputies found Syrkes' body Saturday afternoon along a wood line behind some homes.
He said the suspects told investigators that they knew Syrkes and intended to rob him.
They also are charged with breaking and entering stemming from two incidents in the county.
