$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in Falls Church

Had five of six winning Powerball numbers

A 7-Eleven store in Falls Church, Va., has sold a Powerball ticket worth $1 million.

The winner has not yet come forward, but the ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 201 S. Washington St. The winner of the $1 million ticket had five of the six winning numbers.

The Powerball jackpot had soared to $320 million in advance of Wednesday night's drawing. Powerball's website indicates there were jackpot winners in Michigan.

Other $1 million ticket were purchased in Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, New Jersey, New Mexico and Pennsylvania.

The winning numbers were 6-27-46-51-56 and the Powerball number was 21.

Powerball offers advice if you just happen to be holding a winning ticket: "Before doing anything else, the winner should immediately sign the back of the ticket to establish ownership. When the person is ready to claim the million-dollar prize, he or she should contact the Virginia Lottery."
