Loudoun Co. Holding Town Hall on Teen Suicides

Leaders push a collaborative effort

An important town hall meeting Monday night for parents of school-age children in Loudoun County, Virginia.

Leaders are trying to end the growing problem of teen suicides.

Parents, professionals and groups that offer resources will attend the meeting, but all are welcome.

Heather Applegate, a psychologist with Loudoun County Public Schools will be among those attending.

She hopes to end the stigma around talking about teen suicide.

The meeting is at 7 p.m. at John Champe High School, 41535 Sacred Mountain Street in Aldie, Virginia.
