Adams Morgan Day Set for Sunday

A bevy of fall fests are coming up around the area, but Adams Morgan Day leads the pack Sunday afternoon.

You'll find food and merch vendors lining 18th Street NW, with musical acts interspersed throughout, as well as some likely surprises -- last year a "Poem For You" wordsmith set up his typewriter on the sidewalk.

Admission is free; the event runs from noon to 7 p.m.

Live music on multiple stages features a variety of genres, including Latin rock, salsa, soul, and varieties of Central American.

A subsection of the fest, Arts on Belmont, opens early at 10 a.m. You'll find T-shirts, jewelry, glassware, ceramics and plenty more from local artists.
