Justin Bieber will be back on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards.
MTV announced Wednesday that the 21-year-old singer will be performing the song "What Do You Mean" from his forthcoming album at Sunday's extravaganza at the Microsoft Theater.
Bieber last took the stage at the VMAs in 2010 with a medley of his hits "Baby," ''Somebody to Love" and "U Smile."
Pharrell, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Weeknd, Demi Lovato, A$AP Rocky, Tori Kelly and Twenty One Pilots will also perform at during the two-hour show.
Kanye West will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for his memorable music videos and live performances.
Miley Cyrus will host the event, which airs live at 9 p.m. Eastern time on MTV.
Taylor Swift is the top contender with 10 nominations. Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar and Mark Ronson also are up for multiple awards.
Additional performers and presenters will be announced later this week.
