No Longer Jilted: Shania Twain Engaged

Singer and fiancée bonded after marriage breakups

It’s like "Wife Swap" – celebrity edition.

Shania Twain is getting married again, two years after her hubby of 14 years reportedly left the country star for her best friend.

The 45-year-old Canadian singer will wed Swiss exec Frédéric Thiébaud, her rep confirmed Monday to Usmagazine.com. The pair has been engaged a couple months, a source added to People mag.

Thiébaud, 40, is the former husband of Marie-Anne Thiebaud, the other woman who allegedly stepped out with Twain’s husband, music producer Robert "Mutt" Lang back in May 2008.

Lang and Marie-Anne Thiebaud have both denied the affair.

After the tumultuous breakup, Twain and Frédéric Thiébaud were later spotted vacationing together across North America.

"I am excited to share some personal news with you; I'm in love!" Twain wrote on her official website Tuesday. "Frederic Nicolas Thiebaud has been a true gift to me as a compassionate, understanding friend and over time, an amazing love has blossomed from this precious friendship."

Twain first confirmed the relationship on her website back in August 2009, calling Thiébaud “a dear friend and true gentleman.”

“We leaned on one another through the ups and downs, taking turns holding each other up,”  she wrote then. “We've become stronger and closer through it all.”

In explaining the union, a friend of the “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” singer told People "Shania and Fred are a couple that fit together."
