Based on the acclaimed novel by Kazuo Ishiguro and starring Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley and Andrew Garfield, it tells the story of three friends who come to realize what their English boarding school is actually preparing them for. (Published Wednesday, Jun 16, 2010)

Two of our favorite unseen films of 2010 come out on home video this week, one a remake of the beloved Swedish vampire film, the other a super-low-budget movie about alien invaders that looks as good as any other this side of "District 9." If you're in the mood for something of a less recent vintage, there are two great English films now on DVD.

    “Conviction”
Over the years, the Hilary Swank Formula has become all too predictable. This one is no exception to that blueprint. Now available on Blu-ray and DVD, read our review and watch the trailer

    Let Me In
There are sure to be fans of “Let the Right One In” who simply not will allow themselves to enjoy "Let Me In," insisting that it can’t be as good as the original, and that’s a shame, because this a very good film on its own terms. As a wise man once said, Don’t compare, enjoy. Now available on Blu-ray and DVD, read our review and watch the trailer
