Spotsylvania Co. Tables Subdivision Property Shooting Proposal




    A plan to allow target practice in some subdivisions is dividing Spotsylvania County. County leaders are set to vote on the proposal Tuesday night. But as Northern Virginia Bureau Chief Julie Carey reports, even some gun owners are worried about safety. (Published Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013)

    The Spotsylvania County Board of Supervisors voted to "table indefinitely" the proposal to allow shooting on subdivision properties of more than five acres.

    Supervisor Gary Skinner, who was opposed to the idea,  told News4 "tabling indefinitely " would be one way to kill the measure for now.
