The New York Times did a feature on the Cleveland Cavaliers winning the first pick in this year's draft. Hidden within the article is this note about John Wall on lottery night:
"Tuesday night, John Wall -- last year’s first pick by Washington -- whispered “Cleveland” in his ear before the cameras turned on."
Is John Wall psychic? Or did he know something he wasn't supposed to?
The NBA is dilligent about keeping the lottery results a secret until they are revealed live during the lottery show, so it's unlikely that Wall knew for sure that Cleveland was getting the pick.
He was probably just guessing. But if John Wall wins the actual lottery, we'll know what's up.
