Elf Power & Vic Chestnutt at Black Cat Tonight

These indie rockers team up once more, for the low low price of 12 bucks.

Lo-fi indie rock band Elf Power teamed up with Vic Chestnutt for a 2008 album, the critically acclaimed "Dark Developments," and tonight they're hitting the stage together at The Black Cat (1811 14th St. N.W.). Vic and the Elves (ooh, that could be a great band name on its own) go way back as members of Athens, Ga.'s "Elephant 6," a group of notable '90s-era indie banks that also included Neutral Milk Hotel.

Tickets are $12, probably cheaper than actually buying the CD. (And hey, no tabletop clutter.)

Doors open at 9 p.m.
