Snowflake Martini
- 1 ounce Hypnotic Liqueur
- 1 ½ ounce Citrus Vodka
- 3 ounces White Cranberry
- 1 ounce Coconut Shreds
Rim Martini glass with simple syrup and roll in coconut shreds. Serve shaken over ice in a martini glass with the shredded coconut rim. Serves 1.
Hot Mulled Cider
- 2 quarts Apple Cider
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 2 Whole Allspice Berries
- 2 Whole Cloves
- 1 orange, thinly slices
Place all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a simmer on the grates of the frill or over a burner. Divide among individual mugs and serve hot. Serves 8.
Pomegranate Champagne Cocktail
- 1 Sugar Cube
- 1 Fluid Ounce Pomegranate Juice
- 3 Fluid Ounces Dry Sparkling Wine
- Pomegranate Seeds, Optional
Place a sugar cube in the bottom of a champagne flute. Pour the Pomegranate juice over it, then the sparkling wine. Drop a few pomegranate seeds into the glass. Serve. Serves 1.
Moscow Mule
- 1 1/2 oz Vodka
- 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 4 oz Ginger Beer
Fill either a Collins glass or a double-rocks glass with ice, add all ingredients, stir and garnish with a lemon twist and fresh mint. Serves 1.
Bloody Mary
- 2 oz Vodka or Gin (Gin adds a great complexity)
- 6 oz Bloody Mary Mix, Tabasco Brand is excellent or make it from scratch (recipe below)
Rub the outside rim of a glass with a lemon wedge and roll in kosher salt. Fill with ice, add liquor, Bloody Mary mix and stir well. Embellish with your favorite upgrades: Celery stalk, Tomatoes, Olives, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Cocktail Shrimp... and a lemon wedge.
Bloody Mary Mix
- 46 oz Tomato Juice (preferably canned)
- 2 Tb Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tb Horseradish
- 1 tsp Celery Seed
- 2 oz Fresh Lemon or Lime Juice
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- Add salt & Tabasco Sauce to taste
Combine all ingredients in a glass or plastic container and use as needed, storing in the refrigerator. The flavors will blend together better if the mix is allowed to sit at least a few hours. Serves 8.
Deconstructed Mimosa
- 1 oz Mandarin Juice
- 1/4 oz Cranberry Juice
- 1/4 oz Peach Schnapps
- 3 ounces Sparkling Wine or Champagne
Combine the juices and schnapps in a Champagne glass; carefully add sparkling wine or Champagne. Garnish with an orange twist. Serves 1.
