WATCH: McSorley delivers 1st career TD pass late vs. Steelers originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
Fresh off the bench (and the reserve/COVID-19 list) to replace the struggling Robert Griffin III in the fourth quarter against the undefeated Steelers, Trace McSorley threw his first career touchdown pass to Marquise Brown to give the Ravens a glimmer of hope.
That hope was short-lived, as the defense failed to get off the field and Pittsburgh ran out the remaining time on the clock. Still, that doesn't take away from what was a beautifully executed pass-and-catch for six points in Baltimore's favor.

McSorley found a streaking "Hollywood" Brown on the right side of the field, and after a series of stutter steps and 84 yards later, the lead was shrunk to six points before Justin Tucker kicked home the extra-point attempt.
McSorley and Griffin played in place of Lamar Jackson, who was among the many Ravens placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list in the days proceeding the game. Jackson took to Twitter to recognize the long TD.
McSorley, a sixth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Nov. 20 before getting cleared for Wednesday's game. Though the end result was unfavorable for the Ravens, it's certainly a marquee achievement in McSorley's football career.
