Picking up his 10th triple-double of the season during Saturday night's win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, the star guard now holds the single-season record for most triple-doubles.
Again, he's played just 24 games.
Westbrook finished with 19 points, 12 assists and 14 rebounds, but the record was actually accomplished with plenty of time left in the game. He picked up the triple-double in the third quarter of the contest.
According to ESPN's Stats and Info, it was the 46th time in his career that he picked up at least 10 points, rebounds and assists in just three-quarters of play. No one is even close to that tally.
Westbrook and triple-doubles have become rather common, as the nine-time All-Star and former MVP has had three seasons in which he averaged a triple-double for the entire campaign.
The big offseason acquisition for Washington could be nearing another franchise record, as he's now just five triple-doubles away from tying Darrell Walker on the all-time list with 15.
Just to reiterate one last time, he's played 24 games for the Wizards.
