Report: WFT Game Won't Be Moved to Fill Ravens-Steelers Timeslot

Report: WFT game won't be moved after Ravens game postponed originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

The Washington Football Team's game won't be kicked up into primetime after the Steelers-Ravens matchup was postponed, according to Adam Schefter.

Schefter made the plea to move the game shortly after the league announced it was postponing what was supposed to be the Thanksgiving primetime game to Sunday as an increasing number of Ravens players tested positive for COVID-19. But, as he tweeted, his request was denied.

The Texans and Lions will also keep their Thanksgiving start time, according to Schefter, and kick off at 12:30 PM EST.

Washington Football Team fans can tune into pregame and postgame coverage at NBC Sports Washington starting at 3 PM on Thursday with Washington Football Today.
