You can take the man out of D.C., but you can’t take D.C. out of the man.

Washington Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo was in attendance Thursday night in Miami as the Wizards battled the Miami Heat. Rizzo will have the next few months off as MLB commences its offseason, ever since the Atlanta Braves took home the World Series earlier this month.

In the meantime, Rizzo will enjoy some much-needed vacation. While certain players will be making a case to stay (or return) to the Nationals, Rizzo will keep an eye on baseball trends from the Sunshine State.
