Washington fans will have plenty of great games to watch this Memorial Day weekend as both the Wizards and the Nationals are in town.

The Washington Wizards return to Capital One Arena this weekend for Games 3 and 4 of their NBA playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers. It will be the Wizards’ first home playoff game in three years, and Washington could use some help from the fans after the Sixers took a 2-0 series lead on Wednesday.

The Washington Nationals continue their homestand with a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers starting Friday night. The Nats’ bats have been rolling recently as Josh Bell and Jesse Winker each are enjoying hot streaks. Jon Lester returns to the mound Friday, Patrick Corbin will get the start Saturday and Max Scherzer is pegged to close out the series Sunday afternoon.

The Washington Mystics are on the road for just one game this weekend. The Mystics will face the Connecticut Sun, who are tied for first place in the Eastern Conference, on Friday evening to kick off the holiday weekend.

If the Wizards can pull off an upset of the Sixers in the first round, they will meet the winner of the No. 4 New York Knicks and No. 5 Atlanta Hawks series. Trae Young silenced the Madison Square Garden crowd with a last-second dagger in Game 1, but Derrick Rose and the Knicks even the series in Game 2. The winner of Game 3 will emerge with a 2-1 series lead.

While the Bruins eliminated the Capitals last Sunday, facing former Capitals head coach Barry Trotz won’t be an easy task. Trotz will look to take the Islanders to their second consecutive Eastern Conference final.
