Browns' Hunt, Conklin activated off IR before Ravens game originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington
The Cleveland Browns are bolstering their lineup before Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Running back Kareem Hunt and right tackle Jack Conklin were activated off IR, and both will be eligible to play on NBC's Sunday Night Football.
Hunt and Conklin add significant value to a Browns offense that has struggled in recent weeks, scoring just 20 points over their past two games.
Hunt had five rushing touchdowns in the first six games of the season before hitting IR on Oct. 19 with a calf injury. Combined with Nick Chubb, Hunt forms half of one of the NFL's most dangerous running back duos.
Conklin, a 2020 First-Team All-Pro, was placed on IR with an elbow injury on Nov. 6. With Conklin helping to clear the way for the two-headed monster in the backfield, the Browns could look to run the ball frequently Sunday.
The Ravens (7-3) and Browns (6-5) play twice in the next three weeks -- first on Sunday night in Baltimore, then again on Dec. 12 in Cleveland.
