Like most sports freaks, I watch a lot of sports, and at times get spoiled with great plays. "Oh, one-handed grab, that was pretty nice." "Wow, did he just catch that off a tipped ball by the ref, nice job (golf clap)."
It takes an absolutely incredible play that makes you want to slap someone you don't really know, and then hug that person in the same moment. Philip Lutzenkirchen understands.
The Lassiter Trojans receiver made a play in his high school game that almost makes you think, "Why has nobody ever done this before?" Catching a ball in the air out of bounds in the back of the end zone, Lutzenkirchen decided to do what most should, toss the ball back to a teammate. Luckily for him, that teammate was not a short guy named Shane Bacon on the Marshall Mavericks, because the ball would have hit my hands and probably dropped to the ground as I ran back to my mother's basement.
Why God, Why did you give me such bad hands?!?!
Enjoy the catch, after the jump, and pass it along to some of your buddies. It is the sort of play that makes you wish all of live was brought to you in high definition.
