Iran's Hassan Yazdani overcame a 6-point deficit to win the men's 74kg freestyle wrestling gold medal match. The bout had to be stopped several times to tend to a cut on the head of his opponent, Russia's Aniuar Geduev. Earlier in the day, Geduev had knocked off reigning gold medalist Jordan Burroughs in the quarterfinals.
