A judge has granted a request by imprisoned WikiLeaker Chelsea Elizabeth Manning — formerly known as Pfc. Bradley Edward Manning — to change her name. The decision clears the way for official changes to military records for Manning, who was sentenced to 35 years in prison for leaking classified U.S. documents to WikiLeaks, but it would not compel the military to treat Manning as a woman by transferring her to a prison with a women's unit.
