Hot-Car Mom Hasn't Put Donations Into Trust Fund

Arizona mom Shanesha Taylor, whose case garnered national attention after she was arrested for leaving her children in a sweltering car during a job interview, missed a Thursday deadline for putting money into trust funds to benefit her kids, The Associated Press reported. Taylor received $114,000 in donations, and prosecutors allowed her to keep her three children and not face charges as long as she set up a $60,000 trust fund. She breached the deal by missing the deadline, and now that her deal has been revoked, Taylor is facing a Dec. 10 trial on two felony child-abuse charges. Prosecutors say she has spent about $4,100 per month, including more than $1,000 on cable TV, clothing and dining.
