Boko Haram militants kidnapped the wife of Cameroon's vice prime minister and killed at least three people in an attack on the northern town of Kolofata on Sunday, Cameroon officials said, Reuters reported. There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but Boko Haram, the Nigerian Islamist militant group, which kidnapped and killed hundreds of people this year, has stepped up cross-border attacks into Cameroon in recent weeks.
