Diner Gives Discount to Customers Who Pray in Public

A restaurant in North Carolina is giving diners a discount for praying in public. Mary's Gourmet Diner in Winston-Salem deducts 15 percent of the bill if a customer prays publicly before they eat. The owner, Mary Haglund, said the policy has less to do with religion and more to do with encouraging customers to show gratitude.
