A suspect is in custody after a barricade situation in an Arlington County home Thursday afternoon.
Arlington County Police said the person was a "wanted subject" but did not immediately provide more information.
The incident happened in the 2700 block of S. Arlington Mill Drive, the department posted on Twitter shortly before 3:25 p.m.
Police announced shortly afterward that the suspect was in custody.
Authorities had asked the public to avoid the area during the barricade.
