Officials say one car flipped after striking another while coming off Interstate 295 onto the 14th Street Bridge Monday.
The accident was called in just before 9 p.m. The driver was able to get out of his car and was later transported to G.W. Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
All northbound lanes except for one were closed through the evening.
