Both lanes of Interstate 270 were shut down in Montgomery County after a van overturned Monday night.
The crash occurred near Maryland Route 109 around 7:50 p.m. The northbound and southbound lanes were closed to allow a helicopter to land at the site.
Maryland State Police said one person was taken to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore via helicopter.
Both northbound and southbound lanes have reopened.
