2 Goats, Pig Found Wandering the Streets in Fauquier County

No one has claimed the animals yet, Fauquier SPCA says

Two goats and a farm pig went out on a stroll.

No, it’s not an opening line for a joke.

A passerby found the animals walking on Courtney School Road in the Midland area of Fauquier County on Thursday.

The woman tried to keep the animals in her barn, but commented on Facebook that her horses were afraid of them.

So, she called the county’s animal control and posted a picture on the Fauquier SPCA Facebook page.

The trio was picked up by Fauquier Animal Control, and the Fauquier SPCA is looking for their owners.

No one has claimed the animals yet, according to the Fauquier SPCA. They’re doing “wonderful,” they’re eating and they’re happy, the SPCA says.

While the goats and the pig are at the shelter, the SPCA pointed out on their Facebook post that the animals are not available for adoption.
