Soldiers from a half-dozen ceremonial Army units in Washington are polishing their moves in preparation for another season of musical extravaganzas highlighting the history of the U.S. military.
News media get a sneak peak Wednesday at this year's Twilight Tattoo at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall.
Regular weekly performances begin April 30 and continue each Wednesday evening through Aug. 20.
The shows feature soldiers from the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps; the Army Drill Team; the Army Band known as Pershing's Own; and several other musical units.
Part of the show features soldiers in uniforms from the past and present, leading spectators on a journey through Army history from Revolutionary times to current military operations.
