A 17-year-old Iraqi boy who went missing in Chevy Chase, Maryland, last week has been found safe in Canada, police say.
Abdalla Ahmed was last seen about 2 a.m. July 30 at the National 4-H Conference Center on Connecticut Avenue, according to Montgomery County Police. Ahmed was with a group of students from Iraq who were staying in the conference center as part of their visit to the D.C. area.
He was found safe on Saturday, police announced Monday.
