Volunteers will help some Fairfax County residents prepare their taxes for free.
The 10th annual Community Tax Assistance Day will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Fairfax SkillSource Center in Annandale.
Individuals and families who made $54,000 or less in 2016 are eligible for assistance. Organizers say many of the families who are eligible for assistance may qualify for a number of special tax credits.
But, there are some important documents you must bring with you.
Snacks, parking and childcare will be available for free. Language translation services will also be available.
