‘RIP Sucker' Found Written Near Death Investigation Scene

Police need help identifying suspicious graffiti that was found near the scene of a death investigation.

"RIP Sucker" was found written in white spray paint on a paved path in Clifton, Virginia, Fairfax County police say. The graffiti, which included a broken heart and the word "alone," was found near where police discovered the body of James McDonald last month.

Police also found stencils of a heart and two roses.

McDonald, 26, was last seen by a family member May 15. He was reported missing four days later.

Police say investigators tracked McDonald's cellphone and then used K-9s to find his body in a wooded area in the 6100 block of Union Village Drive. He had suffered trauma to the upper body.

The case is being investigated as a suspicious death.

Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call 703-691-2131.
