4 Arrested for Throwing Paint-Filled Balloons at Right-Wing Speaker Near White House

There were tense moments outside the White House Saturday afternoon when a group of counter protesters confronted a right wing political activist.

Video shows a group of people dressed in all black with bandanas over their faces throwing objects at conservative activist Jovi Val while he was speaking near the White House North Fence Line.

The Secret Service said officers arrested four people for throwing what turned out to be water balloons filled with water-based paint.

D.C. police and the fire department came to the scene to investigate what was inside the balloons.

The four suspects were charged with simple assault.
