Possible Uber Driver Wanted in D.C. Sexual Assault

A man police say may be an Uber driver sexually assaulted a woman in Northwest D.C. early Sunday.

The woman was attacked between 2 and 3:50 a.m. Sunday on the unit block of Grant Circle NW, about half a mile northeast of the Georgia Avenue-Petworth Metro station, the Metropolitan Police Department said.

A man 25 to 35 with a dark complexion and short haircut is a suspect in the crime, police said. He was seen driving a white sports car with black leather seats.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or text message 50411. D.C. Crime Solvers is offering a reward of as much as $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
