A 21-year-old man was shot to death early Friday in Capitol Heights, Maryland.
The victim is Julian Mushington of Landover, Prince George's County Police said.
He was shot at about 1:30 a.m. in the 7000 block of Shady Glen Terrace, according to a preliminary investigation. An acquaintance drove him to a nearby convenience store in the 7400 block of Central Avenue, where the acquaintance then flagged down a police officer for help.
Mushington was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later.
Investigators don't believe the homicide was a random act, police said Friday afternoon.
