Police have identified the man who was found shot to death inside his home in Germantown, Maryland, Wednesday afternoon.
Officers were called to a home on the 12500 block of Cross Rdige Way just before 4 p.m. for a report of a suspicious situation. When they arrived, they found 30-year-old Maurice Cortez Mercer dead inside.
Mercer had been shot, Montgomery County police say.
No arrests have been made.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 240-773-5070. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered.
