A man who had been reported missing from Northeast Washington was found shot to death inside a home about 300 feet from where he was last seen.
Ronald William Richardson Jr., 39, was last seen at 3 p.m. May 17 on the 400 block of Rhode Island Avenue NE, just a half mile from the Rhode Island Avenue Metro station.
He was reported missing three days later, police say.
That same day, Richardson's body was found inside a home on the 2300 block of 4th Street NE. Police say he had been shot multiple times.
No arrests have been made.
A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for any information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information that can help police is asked to call 202-727-9099.
