A man was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Thursday morning in Burtonsville, Md.
It happened at about 5 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Route 29 at Route 198.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found an adult male on the side of the road. He was pronounced dead.
There was also a pick-up truck on the side of the road. It has since been determined that the truck belongs to the victim. At some point, the victim exited his truck and was struck by another vehicle. The striking vehicle left the scene.
