A Maryland man has been arrested in connection with the shooting a cab driver.
According to Prince George's County Police, the victim picked up Diotraye Lee Diggs, 24, along with woman and young child at the Suitland Metro Station on Saturday.
Police say Diggs shot the cab driver after he asked him to pay his fare.
The victim was taken to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuires.
Patrol officers quickly found Diggs and the woman nearby. The child was not hurt, and police recovered the gun. The woman who accompanied Diggs is not currently facing any charges.
Diggs is charged with second degree murder and other related charges. He is in custody on a $350,000 bond.
