A grenade was found inside a Pasadena home during an eviction, the Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Office said Monday.
Deputies was executing an eviction at a home on Middlegate Road when they found what appeared to be a grenade on Friday.
Several homes were evacuated, and the Annapolis Bomb Squad was called to the scene.
The grenade was x-rayed, and investigators determined that it was filled with inert liquid. The fire department took the grenade from the scene for disposal.
There's no word on why the grenade was in the house or how long it was there.
